You will be responsible for protecting property, enforcing laws, and ensuring a secure atmosphere for clients, employees, and visitors.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, documenting findings accurately in reports.
  • Enforce security policies, procedures, and regulations effectively.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment and maintain clear communication with team members and local authorities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new security personnel.
  • Always maintain a professional demeanor and represent the organization positively.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance security skills and knowledge.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Qualifications:

  • Valid state-issued Commissioned Security Officer license.
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond to emergencies.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED

  • Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
  • Able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods monitoring security feeds.
  • Proof of yearly physicals must be provided.
